    Serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and directs, develops, and oversees all financial, accounting, and budgetary functions for a financially and operationally diverse and complex state agency. Prepares and oversees the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and economic forecasts and collaborates with Agency Divisions to determine budgetary goals, expenditures, and assesses financial needs. Researches fiscal impact of proposed bills affecting agency and prepares reports for Revenue and Fiscal Affairs. Represents the Agency as needed at board meetings, committee hearings, budget debates, or other meetings as appropriate as part of the legislative budget process. Oversees and ensures program compliance with financial audits.

    Directs the procurement activities for the Agency to ensure compliance with the Procurement Code. Oversees the Agency's Fleet Management program to include the procurement staff's management of fleet vehicles and compliance with State Fleet Management policies and guidelines. Oversees the Agency's capital asset program and compliance with SCEIS asset assignment. Oversees the Agency's procurement and fleet processes and procedures to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulatory and statutory obligations. Oversees and ensures program compliance with procurement audits. Directs the daily mail services for the Agency.

    Serves as a member of Senior Staff and provides leadership and guidance as it relates to finance, budgeting, and procurement. Develops strategies and initiatives that strengthens the agency's financial and budget functions. Participates in setting the strategic direction for the Agency.
