    Job Description:
    The Ultrasound / ECHO Technologist performs all ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, e.g. echocardiograms, abdominal and pelvic sonograms, for patients as ordered. They also perform radiology procedures as necessary. These procedures will be performed on various ages of patients in accordance with the age-specific delivery of care policy. This person will be able to operate all radiographic equipment, ultrasound equipment, and process images as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiology. Must also be a graduate of an approved school ultrasonic technology.
    Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT. Must have current license to practice in the state of Iowa and maintain CPR Certification. Must be Registered in Ultrasound and registered or registry eligible in echocardiology.
