Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy
One of The Sage Group's clients is looking for an Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy and Operations. Client empowers local economies by building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local businesses, helping them grow.
As an Associate Manager on the Marketing Strategy team, you will use insights to develop consumer-first strategies that drive adoption and activation of membership.
In this role, you will focus on reaching new customers, identifying ways to convert them to a membership and ultimately becoming a paid subscriber.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will:Assess marketing opportunities across key membership adoption & activation initiatives, establishing the role of marketing and how we can best serve the business goal
Collaborate on the development marketing strategies, encompassing goals, category focus and core value proposition, keeping the consumer at the heart of our approach.
Partner with Brand, Creative, Growth and Retention teams to execute the strategy with excellence across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Establish a strong working relationship with cross functional stakeholders in our Product, Operations, Analytics and Marketing teamsImplement best practice across membership growth initiatives including, but not limited to, growth sprints, seasonal occasions, tentpole campaigns, and more.
Work with Analytics, S&O and channel teams to set the right goals and KPIs, and set up reporting to track their progressDrive weekly cross-functional meetings and develop trackers to bring cross-functional team across all of the latest progress and updates
Consolidate performance insights across functions and report out to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
Stay current on marketing best practices, cultural trends and competitive landscape
We're excited about you because:
5-8 years as a marketing generalist, to have fluency across the marketing mix for adoption and activation, fully understanding marketing principles and their role across the funnel
The ability to connect with people, build relationships and influence with authority
A strategic, business-mind; you find trends in the data and look to gather audience first insights
A creative and collaborative inclination; you love working with a team and solving challenging problems in new ways
An extraordinary bias for action; you're dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task.
A track record of driving and measuring business success through Marketing
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
An effective communicator - able to adapt to a wide range of stakeholders to achieve the best outcome, while bringing everyone along.
A strategic thinker - can put together solid one pagers for projects and experiments, consolidate details into the need-to-know infoStrong analytically - understands how to put together a goal/forecast and track progress but not expected to know SQL
Strong Project manager - can hold others accountable and ensure we make progress on key workstreams, take notes on calls and reports out key takeaways/AIs after calls
Location:
100% remote USA, EST preferred
Duration:
6 months to start, plus extension and contract to hire potential
Compensation:
$50-56/hr
