  • JOB DESCRIPTION: This position has been approved for hybrid support (1 day onsite/4 days remote). The ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Policy Analyst with expertise in cybersecurity to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in researching, publishing, and evaluating government policies and documents, with specific focus on cybersecurity. The position requires a deep understanding of both government policy and cybersecurity challenges within the DoD, as well as technical writing skill. The Incident Responders support includes continuous monitoring, data to include but not limited to network and host vulnerability scanning IDS, firewall, network sensor tuning, net flow/packet capture (PCAP). Collect and keep audit data to conduct a technical analysis relating to misuse, penetration, or other incidents. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Provide technical writing, professional editorial, and publishing level subject matter expertise for the release of publications, reports, and communication to the business unitProvide early engagement and assessment of content, developmental and substantive editing for structure, standardization, line editing for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and proofreading for adherence to DoD style publicationsDemonstrate process implementation skills; gathering technical requirement and turning them into functional written processesMonitor new laws, regulations, and industry standards that may affect how technology and information security is managed Interpret, analyze, develop, and write policies and standards from a business and technical perspectiveManagement of and/or participation in large to complex sized projects related to risk and complianceWork collaboratively with business units and others on the communication and implementation of new regulationPossess experience utilizing tasking tracking tools (CATMS, etc.) to coordinate executive correspondenceMeticulous management of memorandums, talking points, portfolio resources, and package materialUnderstanding DoD programmatic responsibilities for reporting, accountability, and executive supportResponding to requests for program information by executive leadershipQuickly research, analyze, and package results in response to short-fused requirementsPrepare quality presentations on short notice for executive presentationConduct research on various strategic defense issue sets, as neededParticipate in all other duty areas assigned under contract requirements Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing.   • Requirements

    YEARS EXPERIENCE:

    At least eight (8) Years experience in technical writing, policy research, and analysis

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field

    CERTIFICAITON(S):

    None required

    CLEARANCE LEVEL:

    Active Secret required

    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least one (1) day a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.

    If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection.

    Must speak English well enough to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer both verbally and in written form.
