Job summary
Directs review of subdivision plans/plats and master plans/development plans for residential and non-residential development requests and ensures compliance with County and Extraterritorial Zone Code the Sustainable Land Development Code and established policies procedures requirements and regulations.
+Responsibilities
- SUP supervises staff provides instruction to employees support; assigns work checks final work to ensure compliance with established policies procedures recommends hiring disciplinary action feedback on work performance participates in performance evaluations;
Ensures all division deadlines met assists acts as technical advisor Building Development Supervisor provides direct customer service walk-in constituents completes associated duties directed supervisor Land Use Administrator;
Overses maintenance accurate records land use entitlements public documents.
Presents cases public hearings responds enquiries from public regarding development projects demonstrates professionalism effective communication skills related public comment controversial projects.Conducts reviews prepares reports assessments makes recommendations zoning development committees commissions Coordinates other County departments governmental agencies pending land use applications Issues development permits administrative reviews permit applications liquor business licenses special film.
Supports trains Development Review Specialists reviewing redlining applications
Assists development interpretation presentation coordination County land development policies informs property owners consultants land professionals regarding land use procedures requirements.Must complete training designated assigned Performs duties assigned.Job description
