As an Employment Counselor, you will provide participants with Employment Services on behalf of BHSN.

What your day might look like:

Performs all of ACCES-VR Pre-Employment Transition and Core Rehabilitation services, including but not limited to pre-employment activities, job development, obtaining and maintaining employment support.

Assist with resume writing, job searches, interviewing skills, career exploration and any employment related support benefitting participants.

Provides engaging interventions for individual recipients, both at the program site and/or within the community setting, including employment sites and schools, meeting several times per week, unless otherwise directed.

Coordinates and collaborates with

rehabilitation/clinical

team as needed to promote positive employment and overall health outcomes for the participant;

Maintains program specific productivity as per agency and employment department expectations, including achieving KPI performance targets as defined by the program.

Your skills and qualifications :
BA in related Human Services field preferred or 2 years employment in mental health, employment or rehabilitation field preferred
Must possess a valid NYS driver's license acceptable to BHSN insurance and have reliable transportation
1 year experience providing employment and/or rehabilitative services strongly preferred
