$85,000.00 PER YEARGENERAL PURPOSE:
This role collaborates with marketing, sales, people, and operational teams to produce and execute targeted marketing communication that support company goals.
The marketing communications manager will leverage consumer insights, competitive analysis, and cross-functional inputs to manage the development and execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and execute all marketing-related content and communication initiatives
Develop, oversee, and manage marketing communication plans, workflows, priorities, and timelines
Write and edit clear, concise, and brand-consistent content for various communication channels
Collaborate with the creative team to maintain style guides and brand voice
Work closely with sales and store teams to develop content and campaigns that drive sales and align with customer needs
Engage with internal departments to foster innovation and brainstorm new ideas
Deliver marketing materials that educate our associates and customers and enhance brand awareness
Represent the brand to internal and external audiences, keeping the target audience in mind
Navigate challenges to ensure high-quality, budget-conscious, and timely project completion
Collaborates with agencies and production service providers to ensure optimal quality and cost
Understands that our first customer should be the internal customer, our associates
Is a positive influence who implements and promotes change
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key department leaders
Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
Champion the Harmons brand and be an advocate for customer perspectives
Ensures the highest quality of marketing products and services
Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
Communicates openly and frequently with the vice president of marketing, vice president of sales, sales directors and store directors
Teaches, mentors and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Models professionalism and positivity for the team
Provide support to contribute to the company's overall success
MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
A 4-year degree in marketing, communication, English, journalism, or related field preferred; marketing experience preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Experience crafting copy aligned with established grammar, style, and brand guidelines.
Proficient in digital and traditional marketing strategies
Technological savvy with an analytical approach to business impact
Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission
Ability to interpret policies and procedures
Excellent organization and planning skills
Ability to appropriately and professionally handle conflict
Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries.
Also requires sitting for long periods.This position may also require standing, walking and bending throughout the day and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
