    Reporting to the Inside Parts Sales Leader, the incumbent will process web and customer-counter orders for petroleum tank industrial/agricultural truck parts/equipment with a specialization of mobile fluid power.

    This position is responsible for reviewing and filling customer orders daily while ensuring the work area is always clean and neat.

    Additionally, you will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.


    Essential Job Functions:
    Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer experience by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactionsMakes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possibleAnswers the telephone promptly when called upon, and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call by addressing customers needs or routing incoming calls to appropriate departments/personnelPrepare quotes, take, process, and monitor customer orders ensuring timely and accurate order shipmentsConducts follow up with customer special requests and quotesManage front counter by routing customers/visitors to the correct department and addressing customer needs, including pulling parts, processing payments, producing quotes and entering/updating customer profileWorks with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environmentEnsures the work area is always clean and neatAdheres to company policies and individual department guidelinesReports to work when scheduled and on timeAssist with other duties as assignedCompetencies:Strong customer service skillsOrganizational skillsAttention to detailAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to balance conflicting priorities, research and solve problemsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to operate a computer and utilize software applications

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsVisual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of visionMust be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motionsEquipment & Software:Equipment: Office equipment, including telephone, computer, photocopier, fax machine, and scannerSoftware: Word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet browser, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applicationsSafety:Follow policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.
