    Job Description

    Controls Engineer (off shift) – Shelby Township, MI

    Full Time - 6:00PM - 3:00AM (schedule may vary)

    The Controls Engineer offers technical support and programming for manufacturing system designs and modifications.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports Equipment Programming for Manufacturing
    • Programs inputs/outputs of robots
    • Maintains support and programming of robots
    • Troubleshoots software and hardware issues
    • Loads software packages
    • Manages project documentation
    • Develops and Installs Vision Systems
    • Works on system upgrades
    • Programs PLC
    • Applies knowledge from electrical schematic drawings, professional journals, equipment manuals, and government regulations
    • Responsible for Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated success and expertise in automotive plastic injection molding and assembly
    • Skilled in programming input/outputs for robot-equipment interfacing
    • Proficiency in robot programming
    • Familiarity with software and hardware
    • Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings
    • 3-5 years' experience in controls within automotive sector
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Effective team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Capable of managing multiple projects

    Requirements

    • PLC, Troubleshooting, Programming
    • Fanuc and Nachi (troubleshooting and programming)
    • Vision Systems (troubleshooting and programming)
