Executive Assistant to Managing Attorney (In-House | West Hartford, CT)
Beckett Law is seeking a high-output, enterprising Executive Assistant to serve as a true operational partner to the Managing Attorney.
This is an in-house role based in West Hartford, Connecticut. Candidates must live within 30 miles and be available to work on-site. This is not a remote position.
We are not looking for a task-taker.
We are looking for an integrator.
You will sit in on leadership meetings, track decisions in real time, clarify next steps, and ensure execution happens. You will convert ideas into action plans, follow through on commitments, and hold projects (and people) accountable. If something is unclear, you ask. If something is stuck, you move it. If something can be improved, you fix it.
The right candidate does not wait to be told what to do.
You anticipate obstacles before they surface. You create structure where there is ambiguity. You are comfortable pushing back respectfully, managing up, and protecting the Managing Attorney's time and priorities. You understand that speed, precision, and follow-through matter.
