    Role Description

    • We are aggressively hiring for a full-time on-site role as a Project Engineer - Environmental
    • You will gain experience in environmental site remediation, including but not limited to, design and operation of Soil Vapor Extraction, Groundwater Treatment and Soil Abatement. You will be exposed to multiple diverse projects and gain experience in all aspects of remediation, including site mobilization planning, system design, system installation, operation and maintenance, as well as site reporting and data analysis. Field work will be required and acceptable driving record is a must. Salary based on Credentials with competitive base pay and benefits.
    • Field-based task implementation and oversight of environmental investigation and remediation projects, including environmental compliance sampling activities.
    • Data management, evaluation and report writing with experience drafting technical environmental investigation reports.
    • Field-based task implementation and oversight of routine Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring (OMM) activities for operation and compliance of soil vapor and groundwater extraction treatment systems. Also includes conducting monitoring of system status, responding to system alarms, and evaluating operational goals associated with system performance.
    • Comply with company, client, and site Health and Safety standards.
    • Can handle a fast pace, high-performance work environment.
    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to NEC's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
    • 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in environmental engineering.
    • Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.
    • Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
    • Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
    • Communication and project management skills.
    • Project engineering and project planning skills.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record. (required)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Engineer in Training Certification.
    • Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs; Microsoft Suite Programs.
    • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour annual refresher certification.
    • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
