    Description
    Duties


    We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Part-Time Yellow School Bus Driver for high school students.

    As a bus driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school in a timely manner.

    The bus driver's primary duty is to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a 72-passenger yellow school bus following established routes and schedules.
    • Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving environment.
    • Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
    • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students regarding transportation-related issues.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations pertaining to school bus transportation.
    • Attend training sessions to enhance driving skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
    Qualifications


    Job Requirements:

    • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements.
    • Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
    • Prior experience as a school bus driver is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
    Salary/Benefits

    * $25 per hour.

    • Opportunity for additional hours beyond the regular schedule.
    Additional Notes


    • Hours: 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
    • Additional hours may be available for sports, extracurricular activities, and/or field trips.
