    Responsibilities:

    What you'll do

    Strategy Development and Implementation

    • Help conceptualize and lead product strategies focusing on automating and scaling expansion in Regulated Industries.
    • Identify market trends and regulatory changes, adapting strategies to meet these evolving landscapes.
    • Ensure the development lifecycle is compliant-by-design

    Collaboration with Various Teams

    • Work closely with engineering teams to translate product vision into functional requirements.
    • Liaise with Trust, Risk & Compliance, and Legal teams to maximize efficiency and assure an aligned compliance posture.
    • Partner with sales, marketing, and other product teams to align product development with business objectives.

    Roadmap Development and Execution

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap in collaboration with engineering and other stakeholders.
    • Prioritize product features and initiatives based on business impact, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of the product roadmap to senior management.

    Customer Engagement and Product Development

    • Engage directly with customers to gather insights and feedback for product development.
    • Translate customer needs into product features that simplify compliance and enhance user experience.
    • Spearhead the creation of customer-centric solutions that address specific challenges in regulated industries.

    Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

    • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure products comply with all relevant laws and standards.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory matters within the product team.
    • Educate and train team members on compliance-related issues and best practices.
    Qualifications:

    Your background

    • 8+ years experience in Product Management
    • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences from executive leadership to your peers in product
    • Experience working directly with technical engineering teams
    • You have experience with compliance, security, and privacy products

    Bonus Points

    • Understanding compliance frameworks like FedRAMP (Moderate | High), FedRAMP+ IL4/5/6, GDPR, GxP, ITAR, IRAP, etc.
    • You love providing both quantitative and qualitative metrics to build a roadmap and inspire cross-functional teams.

    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800

    Zone B: $171,400 - $228,500

    Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
