The Educator, Respiratory Disease is responsible for creating an environment that facilities patient/family/community learning and the achievement of desired cognitive, psychomotor, and affective outcomes. He/she uses a variety of teaching strategies and methods to assess and evaluate patient/family/community learning needs/barriers. The Educator, Respiratory Disease, helps develop teaching handouts, teaching aides, and policy and procedure.
