UFT- Test Automation Engineer - Kansas City, United States - Advantage Tech
Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer specializing in (UFT) test automation for a 12 month contract with high a probabilityof extending and additional 12 months.
Create and design application and software testing processes.
Monitor system and software functionality.
Ensure offerings are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for software products.
Establish and implement rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
Ability to understand desired future state in context of current business environment and define incremental steps to achieve desired business results.
To keep an eye for potential pitfalls and ways for improvement, considering the customer, development team, and historical perspective.Always build relationships, including through onboarding, and team dynamics.
Key Qualifications
Providing manual and automated testing services to assure the quality of strategic and high priority applications.
Strong understanding of test automation best practices and can architect, develop, and debug medium to complex level automation scripts.
Understanding of the software development process and major technology terms.
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
Required Qualifications
Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience or Software Testing Certificate and 5+ years of related work experience.
UFT using VBScript for Web and Desktop application automation.Data Driven UFT Framework is used to drive test cases and suites from an external data feed. The data feed can be data sheets like xls, xlsx, and csv files.
UFT using C# for API automation.
Xray for managing manual tests and automate script runs.
Strong UFT Test Automation Engineer with UFT experience and background.
