    As the Managed Service Go To Market (GTM) Business Manager for Direct Sales, you will playa critical role in WS by supporting the organization's financials and driving strategic direction via the direct sales channel.

    You will partner with Sales and Portfolio Team leadership to predict and track RTM financials, prioritize strategic initiatives, lead key cross-functional projects, and coordinate action plans.

    + Partner with Sales leadership, Business & Finance Analysts to drive visibility and projections to expected business performance. + Manage the operating model for the RTM ensuring the right cadence of reviews to deliver committed financial performance while advancing strategic priorities. + Develops recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance while mitigating risks. + Lead highly complex, time- sensitive requests from the business and our partners. Work across functions and teams to drive clarity, accuracy, and consistency. + Support the development of effective presentation materials for executive-level reviews related to finances, budget, and operational insight. + Manage monthly deliverables related to financial reporting, forecasting, and choicepoints. + Proactively identify and document key risk areas on a monthly/quarterly basis, and work with all relevant leaders and stakeholders to manage them to resolution. + Participate in the long-term planning process for the WS organization. Translates WS long-term strategies into a set of key priorities, initiatives and KPIs within this Route to Market + On an ad hoc basis, supports special projects that require coordination across functions. Knowledge and Skills + Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources. + Understanding of Direct Sales process and Funnel Management + Understanding of HP's financial processes and operational execution to enable immediate contribution to the broader WS business planning team. + Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influence skills; mastery of English. + Strong ability to program manage and track progress against action plans. + Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, exercising independent judgment. + Ability to orchestrate the development of strategic plans that reflect both HP's and WS's business strategy and translate these strategies into executable operational initiatives. + Experience developing and maintaining OKRs/KPIs to measure and track progress of initiatives toward achieving operational targets. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead effectively in a complex environment and deliver results; able to influence without direct authority and to balance between competing priorities by being flexible and creative. + Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.


    Education and Experience Required:
    + Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, business operations, finance, or related functional area. + Advanced university degree preferred (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience. + Prior experience managing direct sales business planning and a strong plus.
