    The Department of Mental Health is seeking qualified candidates to fill positions as a mental health clinicians. Responsibilities include:

  • Working with individuals who are seeking to improve their overall behavioral health;
  • Linking individuals in need to community resources;
  • Emphasis on serving and being knowledgeable about diverse communities and populations is appreciated.
  • This is a competitive civil service position that may be filled provisionally by the appointment of a person who meets the minimum qualifications established for such positions. Specific hours will be discussed further if an interview is offered.
  • Requirements: Must be a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW within four (4) years of appointment if in possession of a LMSW at the time of appointment.
