Looking for summer employment? We're looking for an individual to help us keep the Sauk Prairie Healthcare hospital grounds looking fantastic.
Primary responsibilities will include general landscaping responsibilities .As time permits, may also be involved in assisting the maintenance department by organizing the parts room and general organizing tasks, as well as assisting the maintenance team with projects.
Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible hours between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday; may be impacted by the weather).
Must be at least 16 years of age.POSITION SUMMARYThe Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining SPH grounds during all seasons.
Under the direction of the Facilities Director, the groundskeeper will perform a range of duties including lawn care, trash collection, and leaf and snow removal.
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES (modified summer LTE responsibilities) Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned. Picks up and removes trash, litter and debris from outdoor areas. Empties trash and recycling containers. Performs cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.) in assigned areas. Trims bushes, shrubs, and hedges. Prepares soil and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs. Waters lawns and gardens Plants trees and prunes them when necessary. Keeps outdoor furniture clean and in good repair.
