    Job DescriptionNew England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is looking for a Full time 5 day a week Operational Specialist in our Scarborough Clinic.

    The Operations Specialist will serve as member of the operations team by managing operationally focused projects with an advanced skill set and knowledge of data analysis, workflow redesign, project management and service excellence.

    The Operational Specialists position is Hybrid must be within driving distance to our Scarborough office.

    NECS is a private medical practice composed of 18 oncologists and hematologists serving the region from 5 different locations in Maine and New Hampshire.

    Experience and SkillsKey Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesKnowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
    Knowledge of physician practice systems and operations.
    Knowledge of healthcare administration systems, governmental regulation and compliance requirements.

    Knowledge of computer systems and applications including:
    Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    Skills in organizing, planning and leadership.
    Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision-making.

    Strong facilitation skills and a commitment to working with teams of managers, physicians, senior leaders and other personnelAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbal and written.

    Ability to quickly assimilate, assess and act upon project status changes.
    Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple complex initiatives crossing organizational boundaries.
    Ability to think systemically and understand the implications of policies and practices.
    Must be able to work independently, prioritize workload to complete projects with minimal direction.
