This is a 2 year contract position. It is onsite in Midvale, Utah.

In this role, you will:

Client is seeking a mid – senior level Java EE Developer in Salt Lake City to join our the team to help build, enhance, and support their suite of internally developed Java applications. They develop and support custom, enterprise-level web applications in-house to fit the Bancorp's specific needs in a timely fashion with low cost of ownership and great return on investment.

The skills we are looking for in this role include:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirement.
• 7+ years of experience with Java EE combining development, testing, and troubleshooting. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
• Understanding of Java EE architecture, components, and web application platforms including Tomcat/JBoss EAP Application Server, WebSphere, or other related experience.
• Employs advanced knowledge as a specialist of Spring framework, Web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP), SQL/NoSQL databases, and JPA/Hibernate, and ReactJS.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle and other databases a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Web Services development and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling concepts and integrated application development methodology.
