- Drive an automobile, minibus or van to transport clients (parents and children and/or agency personnel)) to and from social service agencies.
- Drives vehicle to and from individual or central loading area to social service agency or other destination according to assigned schedule.
- May assist passengers in need, in and out of vehicle or children in and out of car seats.
- May operate radio or similar device to communicate with office or other vehicles to report any disruptions of service.
- Regular vehicle maintenance, service, and cleaning.
- Maintain trip records and mileage reports
- Report any unacceptable behavior of passengers

Overview:
The As Needed Program Driver will drive an automobile, minibus, or van to transport clients (parents and children), or agency personnel to and from individual or central loading area to social service agencies or other destinations according to an assigned schedule.
As Needed based upon assigment requirements.
Expected Hours: Up to 15 Hours Per Week
Work Location: 1433 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, New Jersey
Hourly Rate: $15.00
Responsibilities:Minimum of 2 years experience as a driver of passengers and working with children preferred. (Taxi cab, school bus, medical and or rehabilitation transport). Must pass a Department Of Transportation physical examination once a year, pass a drug screening, and have a clean driving record.
Flexible and varied work schedule as determined by program needs required.
High School Diploma Required; Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Social Work or Early Childhood/Special Education Related
