    Summary:


    Plans, coordinates, manages, and evaluates all AHA/AAP certification programs for The MetroHealth System (MHS) and all affiliates who use the MHS Training Center to ensure quality and cost-effective programming.

    Maintains and ensures accountability for ongoing programs and AHA/AAP guidelines. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

    Qualifications:

    Required:
    High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
    Current healthcare background

    Current certification in one of the disciplines:

    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor
    Experience in teaching and/or managing programs.
    Knowledge of American Heart Association and/or The American Academy of Pediatrics standards.
    Demonstrates strong interpersonal verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
    Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    Proficient in multi-tasking and problem-solving.
    Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, requiring high mobility and physical activity.
    Adaptability and flexibility to changes in work environment are essential.
    Available to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed.

    Preferred:
    Bachelor's Degree in related field.

    Physical Demands:
    May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
    May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
    Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
    Ability to read job related documents.
    Ability to use computer.
