    Needed ImmediatelyLeading Tax Company seeking mature professional for Area Tax Manager in the metro Phoenix areaBenefits:

    Minimum Requirements: 1 year tax or accounting experience preferred 5+ years management experience 3 professional references Ability to obtain an IRS PTIN Associates degree or higher preferred but not required

    Duties Include:

    • Prepare tax returns for individual, business, and self employed clientele
    • Manage a staff of approximately 30 seasonal employees amongst multiple locations in the metro Phoenix area
    • Manage daily operations, administrative duties, scheduling, and productivity; Track and approve all time and attendance; Maintain awareness of store activity trends and set work schedules to provide full coverage and minimize customer wait time
    • Interview, hire, and direct the on boarding and training of new employees to ensure a seamless and efficient transition
    • Lead the successful set up of multiple storefronts prior to the beginning of tax season, to include computer hardware, desks, office supplies, signage, etc.
