    8th Grade General Education Teacher | Bellevue, NE

    Are you ready to guide and inspire 8th grade students through their final year of middle school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced 8th Grade General Education Teacher to join our team in Bellevue, NE. This is a full-time position where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic and personal growth of our students.
    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and address the unique needs and interests of 8th grade students.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
    • Teach a range of subjects including Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, using innovative instructional strategies and resources.
    • Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance student learning.
    • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
    • Valid teaching certificate/license for 8th grade general education in Nebraska state.
    • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
    • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of adolescent development and ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
