As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail store and mall setting.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, stockroom areas, entrances, and the immediate perimeter to help to deter theft and/or other security-related incidents.

Monitor shopper and associate activity, observe for unusual behavior, and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, supporting loss prevention efforts as directed, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.

Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
