Battiste Clement PLLC is a small Dallas law firm focusing on commercial litigation. We are completely remote and are looking for an associate with a proven two or more year track record in civil litigation. We need an associate who can work well independently and remotely, has a strong work ethic, wants to grow in the law, and enjoys this profession.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Litigation Associate, with only an 1800 annual billing requirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their caseload, providing legal advice to clients, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court. The associate will also be responsible for supporting the senior attorney, communicating with clients, and collaborating with the legal team to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in civil litigation and/or other relevant legal experience.
• Admitted to the Bar in Texas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Ability to conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Experience drafting legal documents and working with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
