    Description


    CDL A or CDL B Driver

    We prioritize the growth and development of our team members, offering clear pathways for advancement. Our Drivers receive on-the-job and web-based training opportunities to progress within the branch or into other roles.

    As a Driver, also known as a Logistics Specialist II with or without a Crane Operator, your main responsibility is to deliver building materials to customer locations or job sites. You will operate within a 200-mile radius of your home branch, ensuring deliveries are made without overnight stays.

    • Home every night
    • Safety Bonus
    • Drive commercial vehicles safely in compliance with DOT regulations
    • Promote job site safety by adhering to local, state, and federal laws
    • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections
    • Verify inventory and delivery information accurately
    • Inspect job sites for any damage and document findings
    • Take photos of delivered building products as per Company Policy

    Requirements:

    • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
    • Ability to handle building products weighing up to 100 lbs.
    • Safe driving record without recent convictions
    • Knowledge of DOT & OSHA regulations
    • Previous distribution experience is advantageous
    • Proficiency in English
    • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
    • Compliance with drug testing and DOT medical requirements
    • Authorization to work in the U.S.

    All CDL Drivers in the U.S. must register with FMCSA since January 6, 2020. Background checks will verify your registration.
