Leads US team responsible for product performance monitoring for Passenger & Light Truck tires in comparison with competition by the means of obtaining, evaluating (including escalation as needed), and reporting of market feedback.
Evaluate, classify & report performance feedback & market data collected from field adjustments, customer feedback and competitor benchmark data to the product improvement process (O2I, FAM-process) meetings for discussion & review.
Overall responsible for O2I process (US PLT) to support continuous product improvement measures.
Lead Product Service Engineer (PSE) team in regular monitoring, analyzing (including escalation as needed), and reporting field data regarding market requirements and product performance.
Identify and address quality/adjustment trends for further review.Manage evaluation, proper communication and technical conclusions of relevant market feedback gathered by PSEs to OE and RE teams for DFMEA and Market Line Reviews, applicable to Continental, General Tire brand products and competitor products.
Manage PSE team in providing technical service including consulting (virtual or on-site) and training presentations regarding P/LT-tires to internal and external customers as well as business partners and measure trainee satisfaction.
Ensure that complex and/or extensive customer complaints/adjustments and PDCs (property damage claims) with respect to customer satisfaction and the commercial goals of the company are supported by the PSE team.
Support Marketing and/or Customer Service actions in the market and internal stakeholders (PM, R&D, QM, Legal Department, etc.)Back-up for legal reporting responsibilities (Report to NHTSA – TCS portion), legal deposition and legal discovery.
Overall responsible for team projects/task distribution, including customer accounts and specific CS tools.
Support the team on any additional task related to PSE group responsibility.
Qualifications
BASIC:
Bachelors Degree – Engineering or similar field
*For internal candidates with 7+ years of tire manufacturing experience and non-engineering degree, will be tested for engineering abilities
7+ years of related professional experience
Experience in the field of Tire and Vehicle Technology
Knowledge of tire manufacturing, testing or failed tire analysis experience
2+ years of Customer Service experience
Programing skills (SQL or equivalent)
Fluent in English
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills & project coordination skills
Team oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Strong leadership and decision making skills
Strong organizational skills, strategic planning and time management

Preferred
10+ years of professional experience in the fields of tire and vehicle technology
Strong knowledge of tire manufacturing, testing or failed tire analysis experience
Six-sigma or Red-X certified
SAP, CORS, OCH (Online compliant handling) experience
Power Bi/Tableau experience
