    Ballistics Key Account Manager (Remote with International travel)

    JK Executive Strategies has partnered exclusively with a global leader in the design, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of complex measurement technology solutions for a Ballistics Key Account Manager. Our client offers cutting-edge technology and comprehensive imaging and measurement solutions to a wide variety of critical applications in energy, defense, and research to customers worldwide.

    This dynamic and innovative ballistics company provides custom, comprehensive ballistic and impact testing solutions for defense, security, science, and commercial product development. They provide "turn-key" solutions that conform to global quality standards. This is a newly created position and will have one direct report in the UK who operates as an inside salesperson and a resource to this position.

    The Key Account Manager's primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business within existing assigned accounts and developing new customers with high potential. The Key Account Manager brings a point of view to customer engagement that uses all resources to solve customer problems with appropriate products and services. In this role, we are specifically looking for someone with extensive and proven experience both domestically and internationally.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes strong management and influencer relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value, the value of counsel and expertise, the value of solutions, and the value of implementation expertise. Builds a foundation on which to harvest future business opportunities with accurate account information and coaching.
    • Develops effective and specific account plans to ensure target revenue delivery and sustainable growth, including developing and leveraging relationships within existing accounts.
    • Territory and Account Leadership: Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Encourage all accounts to become Sydor references.
    • Actively understands each customer's technology domain, program plans, and product landscape. Reviews public information (e.g. government budgets, program directives, new releases.) to remain updated on key trends and issues impacting the account.
    • Embrace pipeline partnerships, leveraging support organizations including resale partners and relationships to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory.
    • Manage pipeline by following the disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and updated with tasks leading towards deal closure utilizing Salesforce CRM.
    • Support all conferences, tradeshows, and events in the territory.
    • Advance and close sales opportunities through successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap.
    • Leveraging capabilities – Be proficient in and bring all Sydor offers to bear on sales pursuits, including custom engineering and technology solutions.
    • Assisting in customer deliveries, contractual obligations, and installations/training.
    • Work alongside engineers to create and deliver customer solutions.
    • Global travel will be up to 50% for this position.

    Qualifications:

    • BS in an engineering discipline with an advanced degree preferred.
    • 5 + years of experience in sales or account management function.
    • Proven professional experience in ballistics and military equipment.
    • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint; Zoom and
    • Experience with Account and Customer Relationship Management, Sales of Products and Services, and Account Revenue Growth.
    • Experience with developing and executing initiatives to up-sell and cross-sell across the customer base.
    • Collaborative results-driven approach.
    • Strong Leadership skills.

    Salary Range:

    · $100K - $130K (Not including incentives/commission)
