Proverbs Excavation & Construction is currently filling positions for Hardscape Team Leader. Our company has been in business since 2007 and looking to expand. We are looking for hard-working dedicated individuals to add to our team. Someone who is reliable, punctual, and respectful to those around them. Proverbs services residential and commercial properties and professionalism is important at all times. Hours will vary based on season and job requirements; competitive wages are based on experience and crew placement. Horticulture, snow plowing, and operating heavy equipment machinery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Installing paver patios; stone, wood, or segmental block retaining walls.

· Installing ponds.

· Installing low-voltage landscape lighting.

· Able to read design prints and implement the construction plan.

· Can operate equipment proficiently,

· Can operate vehicles such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations.

· Interacts with clients starting with introductions at the beginning of a job, answering questions, responding to client's requests, making reasonable changes to the plan, and providing a walk-through at the job's completion.

· Completes the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and end of job completion forms.

· Can plan and organize the job, ensuring that tools and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.

· Can manage a crew of two or more employees, including handling personnel issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or higher educational experience

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Able to work independently

· Able to physically stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
