    Logistics Analyst / Materials/Logistics Planner
    Contract Duration 3 Months


    Job Overview:


    Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing cost/price data to determine price reasonableness, validate charges on our carrier invoices versus the original purchase order, and match them to the appropriate general ledger code.

    This is a support role, responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process.

    As such, the ideal candidate will be experienced in Microsoft Excel as well as quick to learn software applications as needed, such as SAP Concur to process payments.

    The Logistics Analyst will support the logistic supply chain function of HQ.
    Through data gathering and analysis, you will boost the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
    This position requires a background in pricing analysis with proven accomplishments in cross-functional teamwork,


    Job Responsibilities:
    The Logistics Analyst is fully responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process, ensuring on-time freight transportation payment to our transportation suppliers as per the contracted pay terms
    Ensure proposed freight charges from the carrier are valid and accurate, coding the invoices into our payment system to route freight charges back to the appropriate program
    Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize, focus on, and complete work
    Work with buyers to collect information about vendors, goods, and services
    Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes
    Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting the company
    Uses tactical procedures every day in accordance with the defined business standards
    Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to address issues and assist with implementations
    Performs other duties assigned


    Required Experience:
    2+ years experience required


    Note:
    Schedule Monday -Friday
    Short Term-90 day assignment
