As the Certified Medication Aide at Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center in Enid, OK, you will administer oral and topical medications to residents.
These tasks are performed as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations, and consistent with facility policies.

Certified Medication Aide Key Responsibilities:
Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Certified Medication Aide Qualifications:
State certification as a Nurse Aide is required
State certification as a Medication Aide is required
State approved medication administration certification
Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
Highly developed observation skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
