- Works closely with Route Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
- Experience: 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years required.
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A upon hire required.
- Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
- Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

Description

SHIFT:
Mon-Fri (6am-4pm). Weekend work as needed.
MUST HAVE CDL class A
Safely operates a tractor-trailer or a straight truck with a pup trailer (or other vehicle requiring a class A CDL) to perform assigned duties on designated routes.
Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using standard eDVIR (electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); Immediately reports any unsafe situations or unscheduled service calls to Route Manager and Dispatch before attempting service.
