As our team continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a licensed Occupational Therapist.In this role you will provides occupational therapy services to patients impaired by physical and/or cognitive dysfunction, including assessment, treatment planning and implementation of treatment plans.
Principle ResponsibilitiesConducts occupational therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient independence with activities of daily living, including self-care skills, work and leisure.
Provides occupational therapy treatments consistent with the professional and ethical standards of the AOTA for an Occupational Therapist.Develops and implements treatment plans using adaptations, strengthening and retraining to reach patients' highest potential for independence.
Provides direct patient care in accordance with productivity standards by use of graded activities to facilitate the restoration of physical and functional abilities.
Checks, instructs, assigns and reviews the work of OTAs and aides as assigned.Provides documentation to maintain quality of the medical record as it relates to reimbursement guidelines, accuracy, and company requirements.
Participates, as requested, in patient care conferences, per company guidelines and CQI activities.
Rotate to other facilities to meet productivity/patient care and other duties as assigned.
Promotes current standards of clinical practice through participation in continuing education and in-service programs.
Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Licensure as required by the State of Ohio
Ability to react effectively to the needs of patients and their families.
Physically Able to bend, position, transfer and lift patients weighing from 80 pounds to over 300 pounds, without restriction, utilizing lifting devices clinically recommended for the patient.
May require travel to other sites providing own reliable transportation.Why Rivetus?
