    Assembler

    The assembly operator contributes to our growing prototype line developing breakthrough high power RF devices. The position reports into the packaging / process development team and is responsible for carrying out assembly and measurement operations and contributing to the delivery of next generation prototypes.

    Essential Functions:

  • Runs various packaging assembly equipment, including but not limited to die bonder, wire bonders, C-SAM systems, plasma cleaners, ovens and laser marking systems.
  • Process lots through the assembly line as indicated per travelers, drawings or work instructions.
  • Performs optical inspections of products to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Performs measurements at critical process steps to verify product specifications are passing.
  • Enters pertinent data into log files or MES system for appropriate lot and data tracking.
  • Ensures work areas stay clean and organized.
  • Provides feedback to engineering teams on equipment, product or process issues/improvements.
  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands on experience operating die bonding, wire bonding, scanning acoustic microscope, and device sealing equipment.
  • Must be able to follow travelers and work instructions as well as under basics of assembly drawings.
  • Experience using microscopes to inspect products and ensure highest standard of quality.
  • Excellent hands-on cleanroom skills and demonstrated ability to carry out defined tasks independently with minimum supervision.
  • Computer skill with experience using MS Office programs as well as manufacturing execution systems for lot tracking.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team.
  • Fluent in written English.
  • Motivated and willing to work hard to help the department and company reach objectives on time.
  • May require a flexible schedule to provide coverage during off hours.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
