    Job Title: Intern I Aviation Real Estate


    Location: Dallas Love Field Airport


    Schedule: Monday - Friday


    Pay: $20.00/hour


    Responsibilities:

    The City of Dallas Department of Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our Real Estate team for a summer internship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic world of aviation real estate. You will work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects related to property management, leasing, and development at Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas Executive Airport.

    • Participate in site visits and meetings with tenants, developers, and other stakeholders.
    • Assist with project coordination and provide administrative support to the airport real estate team as needed.
    • Assist the real estate team with general property management activities, including data entry, lease administration, and generating reports.
    • Research and compile market data to support lease negotiations and real estate development projects.
    • Prepare presentations and other communication materials for internal and external audiences.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records in a database system.
    • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in airport real estate.

    Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.


    Job Requirements

    • Current undergraduate college or university students in good standing pursuing a degree in a relevant field, such as aviation, real estate, property management, law, business administration, or a related program with strong analytical and research skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required).
    • Ability to diplomatically interact with City officials and City of Dallas staff at all levels. (required)
    • Interest in aviation and/or real estate is a plus.
    • Preferred, not required; Prior work experience in a related field (real estate, property management, business administration) is a plus. Experience in a fast-paced, professional environment is beneficial.
