Up to $1,500 Sign-on Bonus Based on EligibilityNursing Assistant Med Surg Part Time Days Position Summary
Under the direction of the Nurse, performs sub-professional duties including providing patient care to meet the needs of activities of daily living; operation and maintenance of equipment.
Performs and coordinates the clerical and public relations functions for the unit, as well as coordinating patient services and tests provided by the other ancillary hospital departments; acts as unit receptionist receiving and directing visitors.
Assumes the responsibility for correctly transcribing orders on all patients assigned. Works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused and strives to meet unit and hospital goals. Provides quality work according to established practice standards and guidelines for the area(s) assigned. Must be willing/able to float to other (comparable) nursing units, as requested/needed.THE NURSING ASSISTANT MED SURG PART TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Experience:

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
CNA, and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited Nursing Curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required.
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
