    Covenant Physician Partners is hiring a Revenue Cycle Analyst at our corporate headquarters located in Downtown Nashville, TN.

    SHIFT: This is a remote or hybrid position with 3-days in office in Nashville and 2-days work from home.

    About the Opportunity

    The Revenue Cycle Analyst position reports to the Director, Revenue Cycle Services and is responsible for supporting the Regional Vice President (RVP), our Partners and local billing resources to improve revenue cycle processes and obtain successful outcomes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Analyzes revenue cycle data to assist leadership and local billing teams in revenue management.
    • Proactively tracks revenue cycle performance, identifies area of improvement and provides actionable work plans and recommendations.
    • Serves a primary contact for local billing resources, organizing or providing training, resolving issues and providing functional support when needed.
    • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders across functional units on all revenue cycle topics, including insurance verification, charge capture, coding/billing, edit/denial management, A/R follow-up, cash applications, refunds and self-pay management.
    • Prepares detailed reports and presentations for executive team, senior management across various functions and partners
    • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
    About the Candidate
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • At least 3-5 years experience working in Revenue Cycle related roles.
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, payor issues, regulatory, billing/coding processes, and compliance.
    • Strong analytical problem solving skills.
    • Fluency in numerical and basic financial analysis.
    • Ability to work from a general concept to a finished product with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work with colleagues across management levels.
    • Experience with multiple patient accounting systems with the ability to learn a new system.
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
