    Description

    The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Micro Services, Microsoft 365 SaaS, and Citrix Cloud. Expertise in development release, scripting in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation will be crucial in ensuring efficient and reliable cloud operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based systems. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
    • Develop Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) and automate Azure services provisioning thru Azure DevOps pipeline
    • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities and requirements with the business and IT teams.
    • Document and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and configurations using version control systems.
    • Enhance CI pipelines to support new deployment targets, environments, and architectures, using DevOps principles and practices to get the most out of the tool chain.
    • Develop System images including but not limited to VDI, Server, VM, and Endpoint devices with drivers & firmware
    • Manage images in compliance with System Image Development Life Cycle (SiDLC)
    • Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments, focusing on data protection and privacy.
    • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
    • Provide Tier I/II/III support for application and cloud issues including but not limited to configuration, networking issues, performance, software bugs, deployment failures etc
    • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of containerized applications.
    • Use clear and concise language and format to write technical documentation and DR Runbook.
    Requirements
    • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Micro Services, Office 365, and Citrix Cloud
    • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
    • Experience with SDLC and rich experience with Deployment pipeline and release, Agile methodologies
    • Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
    • Good understanding of network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewall, NAT and VPN
    • In-depth knowledge of cloud automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Azure Automation, or Ansible
    • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration using Kubernetes
    • Strong knowledge of IIS, SQL, Apache, Nginx, Envoy
    Work Schedule

    TransRe is supportive of an agile work schedule, which may differ based on individual roles, your local office's practices and preferences marketplace trends, and TransRe's business objectives. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office per week, and 2 days remote.

    Compensation

    In addition to base salary, for this position, TransRe offers a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and incentive pay opportunity. The anticipated annual base salary range in New York for this position, exclusive of benefits, paid time off, and incentive pay opportunity is $125,000 - $150,000 This range is an estimate and the actual base salary offered for this position will be determined based on certain factors, including the applicant's specific skill set and level of experience.
