Description

• Preferably a degree in Economics, Law, or other appropriate discipline
• 3-5 years of experience and specialized understanding of Work Comp products and portfolio with technical specialist knowledge.
• Specialized understanding of regional / local Work Comp insurance markets and competitor landscape
• Recognized relationship building with brokers at peer group level and well established within local market
• Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework
• Experience in working in global complex, matrix organization leading a team of professionals
• Advanced understanding in relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages
• Advanced knowledge of claims handling process from notification to settlement and recovery
• Advanced knowledge of reserving principles and practices; robust understanding of coinsurance and reinsurance and application
• Solid understanding of relevant legal processes and procedures, litigation management, litigation avoidance techniques (e.g. mediation)
• Ability to organize and run meetings, trainings etc. to successfully reach a common goal
