Description
The Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and will be primarily focused on candidate scheduling and requisition management (creation, edits, etc.).
We're seeking someone with 2-3 years of related experience in HR or recruiting, some exposure to the life sciences, and an interest in learning and growing alongside us.
This would be an ideal role for someone looking to expand beyond a recruiting coordinator position into a broader HR role over time.
This may be a hybrid role for someone located in the Bay Area (near South San Francisco or San Mateo County) and able to work on site at least 4 days of the week.
Overview:
Manage requisition administration in Greenhouse ATS, including requisition creation edits, posting, and closing.
Scheduling of Interviews:
Efficiently manage all aspects of the candidate interview process. This includes scheduling interviews and seminars, travel arrangements, expense tracking, and the preparation of interview materials. Ensure seamless resource and room allocation, and set up teleconferences and video conferences as needed.
Regularly track the interview calendar to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments promptly, including updating relevant parties immediately.
Onboarding:
Onboard new hires, including in the internal HR infrastructure, and find efficiencies for the onboarding process, overseeing its flawless execution
Maintain and update candidate information and progress in our Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System. Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Candidate Experience:
Prioritize a positive candidate experience by delivering timely and professional communication throughout the hiring process. Be a valuable point of contact for candidates, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
Clearly communicate clearly and in timely manner
Other duties as assigned; this position will grow in responsibilities as the company grows
Must be available in person 4 days a week.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Human Resources, preferably in a biotech/biopharmaceutical company OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience prioritizing tasks and handling numerous assignments simultaneously.
Proven orientation of being detail-oriented and organized, taking initiative and having a proactive approach.
Exposure to or interest in the life sciences industry a plus
Comfortable learning new tools and software applications
High level of discretion; experience dealing with sensitive topics such as compensation and performance
Demonstrated experience engaging with employees in a supportive manner; able to build strong internal relationships with mutual respect and trust
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
