Responsibilities:

Participate in the preparation, evaluation, justification, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, and budgetary controlsAnalyze financial data and generate reports to communicate financial results to managementLiaison with and support other departments and cross-functional teamsAssist in the production of periodic financial reportsAssist with data integrityCollaborate with the team to achieve collective goals and contribute to related initiativesSupport internal audit functionFollow the best practices of finance and accounting standardsPerform ad hoc projects as assignedAssist with accounting functions (AR/AP) and backup roles as neededPerform other related duties as necessary or assignedRequirements:Working experience in QuickBooks requiredProfessional Experience using Microsoft Excel in preparing finanical reports- 5 years of relevant experience, with a BS in Finance or Accounting field from an accredited UniversityGAAP proficiencyExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong ability to multitask, stay organized, and take ownership of projects to see them through to completionProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordGovernment contract accounting experience preferredExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsDemonstrated a history of problem-solvingAbout the Company:Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, TurningPoint provides systems integration, software engineering, and professional I.T.
