    is searching for a highly qualified Electrical Engineer II passionate about developing advanced technologies and translating them into real-world applications.

    The ideal candidate will have at a minimum a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science.

    The Electrical Engineer II will work under a Principal Investigator/Senior Engineer to build on current efforts and bring new research ideas to the group.


    Roles & Responsibilities:
    Design electrical systems by developing and testing componentsEvaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materialsConfirm systems and components' capabilities by designing testing methodsDevelop electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materialsDevelop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components and by soliciting observations from operatorsAssure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilitiesPrepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsProvide engineering information by answering questions and requestsMaintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulationsKeep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures and requesting repair serviceMaintain product database by writing computer programs and entering dataComplete projects by training and guiding techniciansMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies (related costs paid by TDA)

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science with relevant experience in hardware development2-4 years of relevant experienceStrong sensor development skillsStrong software skillsStrong hardware design skills Embedded systems design and PCB fabrication (Altium)

    Programming (C, C++, MATLAB, Python, etc.) Experience with FPGA, sensors, electro-mechanical systems, power management, or prototyping Passion for generating new technologyA willingness and interest in expanding into new skill sets and research fieldsAbility to work well independently and in a team environmentPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Software Verification for FDA Simulation skills for various engineering applications (ANSYS/COMSOL)Electronic or embedded sensing development experienceAutomation control logic for electro-mechanical systemsExperience or skills to apply AI technology to embedded systemsExperience or skills utilizing flight control logic for UAS/UAVsLocal candidates only, no sponsorship or relocation offered.

    The annual salary range is $85,000-$100,000, plus the complete benefits package.

    In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors as education, experience, skill-set, and/or location.
