- Ensure the company remains in 100% compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
- Assist with drafting, updating, and enforcing the Employee Handbook and standard operating procedures.
- Lead internal audits of personnel files, I-9 documentation, and payroll classifications to ensure we are always "audit-ready."
- Manage EEO-1 reporting, OSHA logs, and other mandatory compliance filings.
- Assist with the review of compliance-related grievances and internal investigations.
- Experience: 3–5 years in an HR Generalist or Compliance role.
- Integrity: Unshakeable ethics. You handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Attention to Detail: You notice the missing signature or the slightly outdated clause that everyone else misses.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field. PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification is a major plus.
- Values proactive problem-solving over reactive firefighting.
