    Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

    Location: Los Angeles, Caliornia

    Comp: 275k+ base + bonus + equity

    We are partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing FinTech startup, revolutionizing the spend managment industry for small business in search for a CTO with vast experiencing scaling firms in the FinTech industry.

    Role Overview: As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for driving the technological vision, strategy, and execution of our platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers and developers to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and support our growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring technical excellence across all aspects of our technology stack.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the company's overall technology strategy, in alignment with the business objectives and long-term vision.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Drive the development and implementation of scalable and secure software solutions, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices.
    • Oversee the architecture, design, and development of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business requirements.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into our technical roadmap and strategy.
    • Manage the technology budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols, maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven track record of leadership and success in a senior technology role, ideally within the FinTech industry.
    • Extensive experience in building and scaling technology platforms, particularly through A-C funding rounds.
    • Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
    • Expertise in modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, such as [specific technologies].
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
