The Sports Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sports professional to join our team as a Sports Coordinator. This is a part-time position, working on Saturdays during the sports season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Working Conditions:

• Part time position (only on Saturdays)
• 4-6 hours each Saturday during the season
• Ability to work multiple seasons

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and solve problems
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work weekend hours (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check

Salary:

$20-$25 per hour
