    Job Title: Senior Capital Engineer
    Location:Eddyville, IA
    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Purpose and Impact
    The Sr. Capital Project Engineer will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables for one or more of our broad core technology or engineering area. We seek a professional who has strong experience in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. This person will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. Corn milling experience is preferred.

    Key Accountabilities
    • Strong experience with evaporators, filtering, pumps, and pipe sizing
    • Plan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems, and components.
    • Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.
    • Design and improve manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
    • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
    • Minimum of four years of related work experience
    • Capital project experience.
    • Schedule budget and scope development capability
    • Third-party contractor management experience

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
    • Corn milling operations experience
    Ideal Candidate:
    • Understanding of the project delivery process in an industrial setting, experience in food is a plus.
    • Experience executing capital projects below 10M in spend, comfortable mentoring junior engineers.
