    Position DescriptionBusiness development and marketing requires both regional networks and focus area expertise.

    We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to: 1) lead our business development and marketing activities for our K12 Learning Environments focus area, and 2)

    Provide senior leadership, oversight, and service for all BD/Marketing efforts in our Seattle location.

    Y ou will collaborate directly with our Principals and design experts, building and implementing our Learning Environments Strategic Marketing Plan across the Pacific Northwest and in support of success in each of our three offices.

    As a Business Development Specialist , you will be an integral, full-time team member in our Marketing/Business Development group as you:

    Serve as the lead administrator for our K12 Learning Environments focus area, including facilitating team meetings, researching, and tracking opportunities,Serve as a key contributor to both our strategic marketing plan for K12 Learning Environments, and tactical implementation of that plan,Actively build a network of relationships in the K12 ethos locally, regionally, and nationally, and facilitate connections between that network and our design professionals,Communicate Integrus branded messages for identity, culture, mission, and commitment to K12 Learning Environments,Identify, target, and track future opportunities in our K-12 education focus area,Research and execute K-12 Learning Environments focus area strategies,Craft proposals and assist teams to prepare for interviews,Supporting teams in award submittals, project photography, and articles,Attending K-12 education conferences and organizations for new business development,Mentor our Seattle marketing staff and design professionals,Collaborate with our communications and visualization teams to create compelling graphics, brochures, marketing materials, and social media content campaigns,Manage office-wide commitment to consistent use of our branded messaging, including applying and evolving our brand standards guidebook to all marketing and business development activities.

    A successful candidate is highly communicative, possesses the ability to motivate others to reach finite milestones, is adept at maintaining a robust library of materials/content, and is capable of being a knowledge expert for project teams.

    Please note this is NOT a Digital Marketing Focused position.

    Successful candidates will have more experience with writing and development of articles, proposals, and similar documents than social media or digital marketing experience.

    Position RequirementsBachelors Degree or higher in English, Marketing, Graphics, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
    Minimum 8 years experience creating content for targeted audiences.
    Writing and graphic editing experience.
    Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
    Excellent verbal, written communication, and graphic skills.
    Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
    Position PreferencesAn understanding of the architectural, engineering, and/or construction (AEC) industry, with a focus in K-12 education.
    Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - specifically InDesign and Photoshop, as well as MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

    Travel and out-of-officeThis position is full-time in the Seattle office, and can expect some day travel, evening and off-hour work, and overnight travel to other offices, conferences, etc.

    This role has responsibility for marketing and business development success at all of Integrus locations and will require occasional time in our offices outside of Seattle.

    Salary RangeThis position offers $83,000 - $115,000 per year with a midpoint at $99,000.

    New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience and market.100% Employer-paid insurance for staff, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.3 weeks vacation plus sick leave, 9 paid holidays including 2 flex days.
