    Our client, an amazing non-profit that makes a big impact in Atlanta, is looking for a Human Resources Manager to provide both strategic and tactical leadership for all aspects of the human resources department. This non-profit is growing rapidly and needing an individual to match the growth speed of the organization.

    Salary/Hourly Rate:


    $75,000 - $80,000

    Position Overview:


    They are seeking a Human Resources Manager to have major focus on the recruitment, retention, training, development, and communications. The Human Resources Manager will have strong involvement with strategic policy development, performance management, compensation and benefits.

    Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

    • Develop and oversee ongoing activities around employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, company benefit plans, compensation plans, vacation and holiday plans, and training
    • Oversee the HR & Facilities Operations team, including an HR Coordinator and part-time Facilities Operations Specialist, including oversight of daily workflow and performance evaluations
    • Oversee performance management, training and organizational development
    • Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, employee terminations, and administering disciplinary procedures
    • Facilitate annual performance management, goal setting, employee development, and compensation review processes
    • Identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across the organization to facilitate continuous improvement
    • Manage employee training including tracking and facilitation of critical training curriculum and professional development
    • Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and are following professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws
    • Serves as a change agent in the organization by championing new HR programs and practices to continuously increase levels of employee engagement and the organizations capacity

    Qualifications for the Human Resources Manager:

    • 5+ years of Non-profit HR-related experience
    • 3+ years of Operations related experience
    • Professional Human Resource (PHR, SPHR, SHRM) certification is preferred, but not required
    • Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Experience with ADP
    • Strong HR knowledge in Non-Profit agencies
    • Routine office environment. Hybrid work schedule, ideally 3 days in the office, 2 days of work from home

    Education Requirements:

    • Four-year degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Behavioral Science is required
