    The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

    Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include but are not limited to bathing toileting grooming dressing/undressing obtaining and recording vital signs providing psychosocial support
    and other personal care to assigned residents assists residents with meals snacks provides water supplements as appropriate.
    Completes tasks related food preparation dining creating positive dining experience for residents documents interactions outcomes relating
    to behavior activity dietary communicates changing conditions concern responses charge nurse gathers vital signs collects non-invasive body fluid specimens completes housekeeping laundry duties wellness recreational programs encourages participation participates department committees task forces when required.
